Installing the gateway involves deploying a set of components that enable secure communication between your infrastructure and the OpsRamp SaaS platform. These components handle resource discovery, monitoring, and alerting. Before you begin, it is important to understand the deployment flow, network requirements, access controls, and supported configurations. Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are met:

• You are deploying the gateway in a managed Kubernetes environment such as your own on-premises Kubernetes cluster, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, or another cloud-hosted Kubernetes service.
• You have a basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts including namespaces, pods, deployments, and Helm or CLI tools.
• You are familiar with your organization’s network and security policies that may impact gateway connectivity to the OpsRamp SaaS platform.
